We’re passionate about research that makes an IMPACT. Knowing that our work makes a difference in people’s lives is what gets us out of bed in the morning. (Well, that and a LOT of cold brew.)
With the recent release of a battery of studies highlighting the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on adolescent mental health, we’re particularly proud to be working with Dr. Tonya Glantz at Rhode Island College to evaluate a school-based mental health workforce development and training program that aims to increase the number of mental health service providers in school districts with demonstrated need.
Dr. Glantz and her team are improving children’s lives by building a workforce that will serve Rhode Island’s future. At a recent event, graduate student trainees and service providers convened to celebrate their shared vision for school-based mental health teams. The theme of the day was collaboration and teamwork. “What we are doing collectively is always for the good of the kids,” said one panelist. “Sometimes you have to step out of your own role and collaborate for the sake of the child.” We could not be more honored to be part of the action.
