Why Us?
With Lynch Research Associates, you’re always in capable hands.
Let’s talk about your research project.
Kayla is currently pursuing a PhD in Experimental Psychology at Tufts University, anticipating completion in 2025. Her research focuses on the efficacy and ethics of neurotechnology to modulate human cognition and behavior in everyday situations. Kayla’s work has been recognized nationally and published in peer-reviewed scholarly journals.
Her first experience in youth development research was as a research fellow at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Currently, Kayla serves as an expert grant reviewer for high-risk transformative research for areas such as learning and cognition technologies, as well as human-computer interaction.
Eager to enhance her data analytic skills and broaden her understanding of quantitative research methods, Kayla’s work is guided by principles of rigor and reproducibility. She believes in the philosophy that “the best way to learn is to teach” and has co-instructed multiple graduate-level statistics courses. When you’re in need of a resource, it’s likely that Kayla has it bookmarked.
One of Kayla’s favorite aspects of research is determining how to effectively work with data to derive meaningful insights, always keeping in mind the individuals represented in the data.
